Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Harry Winks, Hugo Lloris and Lucas Moura are among the Tottenham players helping to raise £500,000 for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.

The charity is trying to raise funds to maintain its In-Patient Unit and recruit more nurses to care for seriously ill children during the coronavirus pandemic.

The campaign launched on Friday 24th July and finish on the final day of the football season on Sunday 26th July, with Spurs staff giving their support by featuring in a promotional video.

The video shows Kane ironing clothes and playing football with some of the children from Noah's Ark, while Alli helps a young boy in the classroom and Lloris opening the charity's new building.

The Spurs golkeeper told reporters: 'Noah's Ark is an incredible charity and I have seen first-hand the amazing work they do for seriously unwell babies and children.

'We're proud to support them and to be part of this campaign at what is a very difficult time. We encourage anyone that is able to make a small donation to please do so – it will make a huge difference to so many families in our local community.'

A new song, heard in the promotional video, has been released to launch the fundraising campaign.

The song, which follows the tune of 'The Animals Went in Two by Two', was written by scriptwriter Ivor Baddiel, scored by composer Erran Baron-Cohen and narrated by actor Peter Capaldi.

Speaking ahead of the campaign launch, Capaldi said: 'Noah's Ark provides the most wonderful care for babies and children in great need. I hope with all my heart that this campaign raises the funds needed to support those relying on the charity.'
