A long summer for Hector Bellerin
It was a long transfer window for Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin. Thought to want out of north London from the beginning of the summer, it was not until deadline day that his desire was realised.
Having at one time thought to have been on the radar of Inter Milan, it was instead Spanish outfit Real Betis who snapped up the 26-year-old on a loan deal in the dying embers of the window.
Arsenal, in turn, added Takehiro Tomiyasu to their side as a replacement.
Bellerin reveals why he joined Betis

He also hinted at the weather being a reason for his departure from the Emirates stadium, bizarrely saying:
Bellerin will be remembered fondly by the Arsenal faithful, with the defender having made 239 appearances to date for the north London outfit. However, with the addition of Tomiyasu, it seems that there will be little for the Spaniard to return to after his year-long loan.
