Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is set to undergo a medical with Napoli in the next 24 hours.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has been struck between all parties for Hojlund to join Napoli on loan.
The deal includes a loan fee of £5.1million (€6million) a buy option clause worth £44million (€38million) that will become mandatory under certain conditions.
Hojlund has been heavily linked with a departure from United after falling down the pecking order at the club.
Ruben Amorim's side have invested heavily in their attack this summer, with Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo all joining the club.
There was much expectation when Hojlund joined United for £64million plus £8million in add-ons from Atalanta in 2023.
However, the move certainly hasn't gone to plan with the 22-year-old often struggling to make an impact.
In total Hojlund has made 95 appearances for United, during which he has scored 26 goals and provided six assists.
He won the FA Cup with United during the 2023-24 season.
By joining Napoli, Hojlund will be reunited with his former United team-mate Scott McTominay.
Napoli won the Serie A title last season and started this campaign with a 2-0 victory away to Sassuolo.
