The Real Madrid midfielder is beginning to seriously consider an end-of-season exit from the Bernabéu, and is open to a switch to Manchester City.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants to take Isco to the Premier League club, and the Real Madrid midfielder is open to the idea of linking up with the Catalan.
Isco reduced to bit-part Real Madrid role under Solari
In recent days, an intermediary representing City contacted Isco's camp to make known the English champions' interest in the Spain international, who is currently enduring his lowest ebb at the Bernabéu since moving from Málaga in 2013. Despite Santiago Solari this week insisting Isco is a player he "loves", the Andalusian has tumbled down the pecking order under the new Madrid boss.
It's one thing to like an individual as a footballer; whether or not that they fit into the coach's style of play is quite another. That the latter is a consideration that weighs more heavily than the former is evidenced by the fact that, since Solari took over at the end of October, Isco has featured for just 314 minutes out of a possible 1,080: less than a third of Madrid's total game time.
As well as struggling for regular football, Isco was also involved in a confrontation with the Madrid fans recently, and has seen his relationship with key dressing-room figures deteriorate. Against this backdrop, the 26-year-old is beginning to seriously consider the option of an end-of-season move to City, where he is confident that Guardiola would get him back to his best.
Isco also wary of effect of potential Hazard signing
Eden Hazard's potential arrival at the Bernabéu, with the Belgian strongly tipped to swap Chelsea for Madrid, is another factor encouraging Isco to move on. Having had to settle for a secondary role this term, the situation would only be likely to get worse were Hazard to be added to the squad. Isco wants to feel important again and, if that is no longer possible at the European champions, then he feels that City may be where he can make that happen.

Falling out of favour with the coach does not mean Isco feels scared of Hazard.Look at what he does at the Spanish national team, what he was doing with Madrid under Zidane.Isco is an exciting player who l view as better than hazard

5 reasons why Isco might leave Real Madrid this summer 1. Distance from Solari and the fans 2. Bad relationship w/ Ramos & Marcelo 3. Possible arrivals of James & Hazard 4. Manchester City’s interest 5. Real Madrid would want to generate €

So Arsenal get rid of Ramsey to get another Ramsey that is just more expensive? I think Isco is easily the most overrated Spanish player and in la liga.

Iso best decision is to leave for Man City, you're a fantastic player, Pep can make you more better as long you're willing to. Once a coach stop featuring you, just know you're out of his styles of play, no need to accept been bench, you must move to another team where you can have playing time, as you can see what's hapoening to Ozil at Arsenal.

We lack a true no.10 player who can unlock defences like Coutinho used to . We tried to address that in the summer but the Fekir deal fell through . So he definitely has a space in the starting XI. You have Shaqiri for that I presume after the Fekir deal did not go through. Anyways, Isco is not someone any team buys to reinforce depth. He is good enough to start for most teams barring Barca and Madrid and probably City, and doubt will exchange one bench for another Shaqiri was signed as rotation option for Salah and Mane. Fekir was planned as the Coutinho replacement for no.10 position . Those two deals were not related . Weird because Shaqiri is a no 10 and not a pacy winger like the other two.

What the hell has happened to Isco!! One day he’s scoring goals and helping Madrid win and now he’s a benchwarmer. I really don’t know what’s wrong with Solari?!
