Juventus' revenge for Barcelona's 'Messi is the GOAT' tweet

The Tuesday night battle between Barcelona and Juventus didn't only take place on the pitch, as there was also a rivalry taking place on social media.

After Barcelona won the first meeting between these sides in Turin by a 2-0 scoreline, they posted a message about Lionel Messi being the "greatest of all time".

"We are glad you were able to see the [goat emoji] on your pitch," Barcelona wrote, while tagging Juventus' account.

Juventus responded by promising a good performance from Cristiano Ronaldo in the second meeting.

"You probably looked it up in the wrong dictionary, we'll bring you the right one at Camp Nou," they said at the time.

On Tuesday night, a month and a half later, Juventus got their revenge after their 3-0 victory at the Camp Nou.

"We kept our word: we brought it!" the Italian club tweeted at full time, with a photo of Ronaldo and with a goat emoji of their own.
