Gleison Bremer admits he's 'flattered' by links of a move to Manchester United - but insists he's happy at Juventus.
Bremer, 27, has spent the past two years with Juve, having joined from local rivals Torino in a £42million transfer deal. But amid the Italian giants' financial woes, Juventus have been tipped to cash in on the highly-rated Brazilian defender.
United are looking to bring in at least one centre-back before the summer transfer window closes, with the club currently in talks to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich and already submitting a failed bid for Everton starlet Jarrad Branthwaite. If, however, the Red Devils decide to change tack, they could attempt to convince the two-time Serie A defender of the year after he responded to a question about United's rumoured interest.
"I am flattered by the interest of some top clubs but I am already in a great team like Juventus," Bremer replied, speaking ahead of Brazil's exit from the Copa America at the hands of Uruguay on Saturday.
"I am very focused on the Copa America. I have many goals. I want to play one or two World Cups and I want to continue fighting for important titles in Europe."
The 27-year-old is also enthused about the prospect of working under newly-appointed Juve manager Thiago Motta, who's been brought in to employ a progressive, attack-minded style of football. Motta guided Bologna into the Champions League and previously impressed at Spezia.
"He will be welcomed very well by the entire squad," Bremer added. "He is a great professional who is doing a brilliant job and I think it was a great choice by the club. As for me, I will do my best to help him adapt as soon as possible."
The right-footed centre-back, who was named after the late German legend, Andreas Brehme, went on to say: "I feel very good about everything I have done in recent seasons. Little by little we are helping Juventus to return to being an elite team and to fight for major goals. I really hope that next season will be a season of great joy for all of us, the players and fans."
United have until Sunday, August 30 to make signings.

when you are big, you are big
That’s valid. They’ve been getting progressively worse but spending more money. Ik I’m a city fan and biased but idc how big a club is, if they’re going downhill I’m not joining them

Tired of winning? 🤭🤔🥴 Jose Mourinho once said a former Arsenal manager by the name of Wenger is a specialist to lose. Now I hear once the Arsenal fan adopting the los specialist by saying they're tired. We all know that they're not tired instead they're losers always, they're trying to be fancy by saying they're tired
