Kai Havertz urges Chelsea fans to be patient with two of his teammates

Kai Havertz insists that Chelsea fans needs to be patient with Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk.

Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk, who are both 22, completed mid-season moves to Stamford Bridge back in the January transfer window.

It cost the Blues £106.8million (Sky Sports) to sign Fernandez from Benfica. However, the Argentine World Cup winner has quickly gone about showing everyone what a top-class midfielder he already is.

As for Mudryk, Chelsea could end up paying Shakhtar Donetsk as much as £89million (BBC) for him. The Ukrainian winger is taking a bit more time settling in his new environment, but he's shown glimpses of his pace and attacking threat.

Kai Havertz knows exactly what it's like having a big price tag on your shoulders. He joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen a few years ago for £71million (BBC).

The 23-year-old Blues attacker insists his two news teammates should be afforded time to reach their full levels.

“Enzo [Fernandez] and [Mykhailo] Mudryk have come for a lot of money and they're only [22], you know? You cannot expect them to be Neymar straight away. It's like me: it takes time,” Havertz told The Guardian.
