Tottenham transfer news: Ange Postecoglou is set to be a busy man in the final 48 hours of the summer transfer window

The window closes later today and there remains plenty to do in North London. Spurs have been busy in the market in backing Ange Postecoglou with the signings of James Maddison, Micky van de Ben, Guglielmo Vicario and Alejo Veliz.

However, more work could yet be completed with Nottingham Forest’s Brennan Johnson looking likely to be the next face through the door. So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at eight players who Tottenham have been tipped – by SkyBet at varying odds – to sign before September 3, 2023.

He fits the bill perfectly as to what Ange Postecoglou wants in his attacking players, too. The North Londoners are clear favourites to land the forward.

Spurs are favourites to land the England international, with a move to Bayern Munich a close second at 12/1.

Of all the clubs interested in the striker, Spurs are the favourites (7/1) with Chelsea behind at 8/1. However, SkyBet seem to strongly believe that he will stay in Turn.

Eze's future at Crystal Palace has been in doubt for the majority of the summer after his impressive 2022/23 season. Following the news of Michael Olise's contract extension, rumours have only intensified.

Manchester City are favourites to sign Eze at 2/1, with Tottenham at 8/1.

A signing who would excite the Tottenham fanbase. Mitoma has set the world alight in the Premier League with Brighton, but the Seagulls are very unlikely to allow another one of their star assets leave the club having left Moises Caicedo join Chelsea.

City are favourites at 13/2. Spurs are backed at 10/1, above Liverpool who are priced at 12/1.

As we've seen throughout the window, quality midfield pivots are hot property. Liverpool are favourites at 4/1, with Arsenal also ahead of Tottenham at 8/1.

Tottenham have improved their defence this summer with the signing of Micky van de Ven. However, there could still be further reinforcements amid continued uncertainty over Davison Sanchez's future.

Maguire hasn't featured for Man United after clearly falling down Erik ten Hag's pecking order. A departure for West Ham is still the favourable move ith bookmakers while Tottenhamare priced at 16/1 alongside Newcastle.

Another Serie A striker linked with a move to England. Inter's Martinez seems to be linked with a move to Spurs nearly every window but, this time, there's a clear path for him to become the club's first-choice striker.

However, London rivals Chelsea are also interested and are favourites at 6/1.
