Juventus defeated Manchester United 1-0 in Old Trafford yesterday evening, Paulo Dybala scoring the only goal as the Bianconeri triumphed. Juventus were without two German midfielders for the clash against Man United, Emre Can and Sami Khedira – who have both been injured.
However, good news for Juventus fans as a return date has been set for Sami Khedira; the 3rd November, when Juve take on Cagliari.
Khedira will, therefore, miss the match against Empoli – back in time for the game against the Sardinian side. That also means that the German will be available for Juventus’ Champions League clash against Manchester United at the Allianz Stadium on the 7th November.
Emre Can will also miss the game against Empoli but the Juve medical team will then reassess whether or not he is ready to return in time for the game with Cagliari.

He's also a good depth player when fit, sure he's not as good as he was maybe 4 years ago, but he still can contribute in the league for example. Also doubt that he's on that significant wages. It's not something that moves Juventus forward as a club anymore, but neither will it hurt to keep him.

Don’t let any Juve fan in here convince you this is a good idea. They don’t watch our games. He’s not some hideous midfielder, but his legs are gone and he had the tendency to do nothing way too much. By next season I can’t imagine him being all that useful.

Hes been a great sub so far, putting him in to close out games has been really effective. He comes on for Sami or Matuidi, if he progresses well he'll likely start over Sami in the new year as the number of matches ramps up

Incredible cross from Ronaldo but why is Khedira the one in that position lol Why not? Making strong runs forward is one of the things he's very good at. Hes a box to box mid Khedira is great at positioning inside the box, but his finishing is often poor, last year he finished with 9 league goals and lots of missed sitters Just like in my fifa games
