Laurent Koscielny is taking legal advice after claiming his wages will be cut in HALF in his bitter contract row with Arsenal.
Koscielny, 33, and his representatives are due to meet club officials this weekend to try and resolve the issue and force a move away from the Emirates.
Gunners captain Koscielny has gone on strike by missing the club's US tour but the ex-France defender is angry after negotiations over a new deal.
Koscielny has only got 12 months left on his £100,000-a-week deal, wanted an extra year with the club insisting there was no automatic extension clause.
Arsenal were willing to give Koscielny an extra year with a guaranteed free transfer next summer if he decided to leave and they insist if he remains a regular then he could end up earning more.
But it would be on a lower basic with performance incentives and bonuses and the veteran centre half insists it effectively cuts his basic wage in half and the way the deal is structured leaves him out of pocket.
That has caused the ructions behind the scenes and there now appears no way back with Arsenal insisting he trains with the under-23s and he is facing disciplinary action with a heavy fine for missing the US trip.
Koscielny is digging his heels in and now wants to return to France with Bordeaux offering a three year contract - but only if he is a free agent and that is now a sticking point. Lyon are also keen.

The situation is that Cech was bought by Arsenal with a transfer fee being paid. Koschielny is under contract and if a French club wants his services they should pay a transfer fee. Why must he go for free if he still has a year left on his contract? Koschielny is like a small baby. Im certain if a transfer fee is paid to Arsenal then he will go.
cech was still in contract with Chelsea when the transfer went through. i am not supporting any way Lolo but considering what he has given to arsenal. we should have let me go.

The man wanted an extra year in his contract, why on earth will you deprived him of that.. he’s been a loyal servant and playing with some of the weirdest defenders in epl.. do you think the man is happy with the way the club is going about? every year they won’t sign a defender.. he plays for the club as though he’s got arsenal shares.. for so many years he’s been doing so... the club have never thought of bringing in a world class defender to pair with him... I guess he knew this would probably be his last contract and he want a situation whereby he can sign at least two years or three years contract which won’t happen at Arsenal.. I believe before now the club knew Laurent won’t go to the USA tour.. they should stop making sounds like the guy is a betrayer.. now they’re bringing back chambers another average defender... waiting for holding to be fit, of which you and I know he won’t be the same holding who was progressing before the injury, even if he will be even better it will take time. It seems it’s only we the fans who understands that Arsenal fc needs a good two world class defenders...

you are so judgemental!. what makes you so sure the club knew he won't go for the US tour? like, they made him decide not to go or what? I don't get you. what makes you so sure when Holding comes back he won't be the same or even a better player? what makes you so damn sure? Holding is a good player and would get better when he is back. Even Neymar has gone back to training with PSG to ease his move. Laurent should have done better.
