LaLiga came under fire for during Sunday's El Clasico showdown between Barcelona and Real Madrid for having no goal-line technology and president Javier Tebas has hit back.
The clash at the Bernabeu was level at 1-1 when Lamine Yamal thought he had given the Catalans the lead with a flick from a corner.
His effort looked to have beat goalkeeper Andriy Lunin before he managed to palm it away from the goal.
However, the referee waved play on and the VAR couldn't confirm if it had indeed crossed the line.
Leagues such as the Premier League now have the technology to sort such incidents in seconds with officials receiving a signal on their watch telling them whether it is a goal or not.
Yet there is no such technology in the Spanish top flight, with El Larguero reporting that La Liga president Javier Tebas does not want to pay the '£2.6 million' it costs.
Fans couldn't believe that Yamal's strike wasn't given as a goal but Tebas quickly defended his league's lack of tech.
The LaLiga president posted a series of articles about moments where goal-line technology has made mistakes.

without the goal line technology, the ball has to fully cross the line, then it's a goal, but on that situation it didn't fully cross the line

barcelona fans and their victim claim... you guys are just making your club look more miserable this way every game you play in laliga and champions league you always claim you are robbed... please its enough stop looking for pity all over and try to justify your failure on other people.... look inwards to your own club and you would see no one robbed of anything but you club robbed herself... starting from your management.... when you guys are winning no robbery then... but when you loose the first thing you fans think about is madrid.... and believe me that's a psychological problem for you people...

Maybe the ref&VAR mistook Adry Lunin right leg as the ball cuz only his right leg that didn't pass the line.

Does anybody have a picture or video of the ball crossing or crossed the line? Everybody in Spain knew they do not have goal-line tech, and no complaints were made so why the noise now? It would've been hash on Madrid if it had been given because there is no evidence to prove it did cross the line.

It all about excuse this and excuse that, looking at the excuses and the games played, only thing comes out it mind is Madrid is being favored at all time to keep the league entertained or interesting, since Madrid has spent so much on bringing players they are keen on playing at the high level therefore they will be judged if they cannot keep the level expected and what we gonna end up with? Unfairness from referee and the president and all around them, believe me if Barcelona spent as much as Madrid or bring a high profile player in then it would have been different. Just think about it, when Messi and Ronaldo was around no referee would make such mistakes or you will hear from the president about it the referee mistake but what now?
