Leicester City players get into the festive spirit as they film annual Christmas video

Leicester City have given us the first sneak peak of their Christmas advert - in their bid to topple retailers John Lewis and Marks and Spencer.

While they haven't released the video of the advert, which will feature former players Steve Walsh and Muzzy Izzet, new pictures show the Leicester players getting into the festive spirit.

But while Riyad Mahrez, Ben Chilwell, Christian Fuchs and Danny Simpson appeared to be enjoying themselves, alongside summer signing Kelechi Iheanacho.

Iheanacho, who joined from Manchester City in the summer, played an important part.

Not only was striker was photographed sitting in a sleigh in the Leicester club shop at the King Power Stadium, he was also spotted in front of the tree.

His role in the video is unknown but one thing he will be hoping for this Christmas is a few goals. So far he's only managed to score once for Leicester since joining.

Full back Fuchs had no problem getting into the mood. In a rather fetching Puma jacket, Fuchs was more than happy to be snapped holding a football as he ran through his lines.

Simpson has been ever present in Leicester's side this season and he showed why as he demonstrated his ball skills behind one tills in the club shop.

Mahrez practiced his keepy-ups while Chilwell tried on a Foxes Christmas hat for size.
