Leicester in talks with former Aston Villa youngster Arjan Raikhy

Leicester are in talks to sign Arjan Raikhy following his release from Aston Villa at the end of last season.

After suffering relegation on the final day of, the Foxes have been active this summer as they look to secure promotion at the first time of asking.

The departures of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes has allowed new boss Enzo Maresca a sizeable war chest to improve his squad, with Harry Winks, Conor Coady and Mads Hermansen having already arrived at the King Power.

Raikhy began his career at West Brom's academy before switch to Aston Villa as a teenager.

The midfielder went on to be part of the club's FA Youth Cup-winning squad in 2021, and spent much of the following campaign earning experience in the senior game on loan at National League clubs Stockport County and Grimsby Town.

Meanwhile Manchester United defender Will Fish has rejoined Hibernian on a season-long loan.

Fish made his Premier League debut for United coming on as a substitute on the final day of the 2020-21 season but has yet to make another senior appearance for the club.

The England youth international spent last season at Easter Road, making 21 appearances and netting three times as Lee Johnson's side finished fifth in the league.

The Scottish Premiership side suffered a calamitous defeat in the Europa Conference League second qualifying round on Thursday, falling to a 2-1 defeat against Andorran minnows Inter d'Escaldes.
