Leicester have won the race to sign Luton starlet James Justin having fended off competition from Aston Villa and Stoke for his signature.

As revealed by Sportsmail last month, the Foxes showed a strong interest in the 21-year-old and have now got a £6million deal which includes add-ons over the line.

The Premier League side are expected to announce the deal on Friday afternoon.

Justin will provide competition for Ricardo Pereira though Championship clubs are expected to ask to take him on loan.

Brendan Rodgers has been looking for a young and exciting right-back to push Pereira, and they have moved quickly to get their man.

The English youngster, who is very comfortable on the ball, started out his playing career as a central midfielder but was converted into a full-back.

After making his first-team debut at the end of the 2015-16 season, he has gone on to make 114 appearances - netting six goals - and played a key role in helping Luton earn back-to-back promotions.
