Lippi's son reportedly assaulted outside his home

Davide Lippi, the agent-son of legendary Coach Marcello Lippi, was reportedly the victim of an assault outside his home.

According to Sport Mediaset, Lippi was approached by three people with their faces covered by balaclavas, who kicked and punched him, as well as threaten to kill him.

The representative would then have managed to take refuge in a car garage, before his attackers fled the scene on two scooters.

Italian police are investigating the incident, which is speculated to have been attempted robbery or an intimidating gesture linked to Lippi’s profession.
