Klopp's intense desire to have Lavia is quite curious. Understandably he is evidently outstanding. But he's only 19, with very limited experience & maturity. As an understudy to Fab he probably would have been perfect. If Fab leaves, as is likely, it's doubtful if he's ready to fill the gap immediately. Essentially he's still a project. L'pool already have on hand 2 other similar projects of the same age bracket and same position, in Bajcetic and Tyler Morton. Does it really help the club to splash on Lavia, in the circumstance? Don't think so. Not convinced this's the best move. No regrets that it failed.
