Lorenzo Pellegrini's representatives have been in contact with both Inter and AC Milan to alert them of their client's potential availability according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Italian national team midfielder has struggled to agree new contract terms with Roma and continued disputes could mean that Pellegrini could head for the exit door in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

Pellegrini has a €30 million release clause in his current contract with the Giallrossi club, a clause that is payable in two instalments.

For the time being, Inter seem focused on other names for the midfield, namely Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but a move for Pellegrini cannot entirely be ruled out due to the fact he is Italian and will not come at as great a cost as some others.

The former Sassuolo player, who is under contract in the Italian capital until the end of the 2021/22 season, has three goals and 11 assists in 24 games across all competitions to date this season.
