Jurgen Klopp was dealt yet another injury blow after Dejan Lovren went down with an injury just two minutes into Liverpool's FA Cup third round clash with Wolves.

The Croatian centre back was named in the starting XI for the Reds at Molineux on Monday night but lasted barely 120 seconds before appearing to hold his hamstring before sitting on the floor.

With Klopp having already rotated his squad heavily for the game against Wolves, the German manager will be desperate for Joe Gomez to finally make his return from injury.

Gomez, who was considered first choice alongside Virgil van Dijk, has been sidelined since sustaining a fracture to his lower left leg during Liverpool’s 3-1 win at Burnley on December 5.

Joel Matip is also on the sideline after receiving surgery after fracturing his collarbone against Napoli in mid-December.

Following Lovren's injury, Klopp handed Ki-Jana Hoever his Liverpool debut and in turn became the club’s youngest-ever player to feature in the FA Cup and third-youngest across all competitions.
