The prestigious Ballon d'Or award to name the best footballer in the world is being awarded tonight and two Man City players have made the top 10.
Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez have been recognised for their excellent years in which they enjoyed brilliant success for club and country by being named among the best players on the planet.
There was also room in the top 30 for teammates Sergio Aguero (16), Kevin De Bruyne (14) and Raheem Sterling (12).

Mahrez wasn’t fantastic at the African nations cup. He just happened to score that clutch free kick against Nigeria. Couldn’t make the city team when Bernado and sane were in the team. You forgot or ignored that Mahrez got the African cup to his national team Algeria as a captain. Mahrez was always benched due the clan that organized against him so won’t have more time to play and shine. He would have ranked much better than this had he played more. Don’t forget he was just recently the player of the year at the EPL and hand the championship to Leicester!!
