Manchester City are close to finalising the £11million sale of Rabbi Matondo to Schalke.
The deal will entail sell-on and buy-back options for the 18-year-old Wales international winger.
City have already rebuffed offers of around £8m for the Liverpool-born forward who is out of contract next year.
The teenager has also had interest from Bayern Munich and Bourssia Monchengladbach.
City's exciting 16-year-old striker Noah Ohio is also attracting interest from Bundesliga clubs.
The Dutch-born forward has been offered a three year deal by City but is looking to leave.
Los Angeles Galaxy have finalised the loan signing of City's 21-year-old Mexican winger Uriel Antuna.

So you are focussing on the 5....why not focus on the 6 who got promoted....why not try to get near that "6" instead of talking about "5". The thing is Man City have unlimited money and they can buy stars....so why to spend time in developing players or playing them in the Premier League. I can understand that with big money spending comes the huge pressure of winning trophies and that could be the reason for young players not getting playing time.
okay, have a nice day.

Class of 92....remember....Sir Alex Ferguson promoted 6 academy players to the first team. The thing is....does the managers these days have the balls to play young players.

all academy players can NEVER make it to first team, you have to understand that atleast, not only for man city but every club. but only the best and those loyal and willing enough to stay will make it to first team, it's not that every academy graduate go to first team...know that.
