Man City step up pursuit of Abraham (Le10Sport)

As the Chelsea difference-maker this season, the youngster Tammy Abraham (22 years) is the transfer target of Manchester City.

Abraham has two and a half years left on his deal, which is worth £50,000 per week. Understandably, he is looking for a significant pay rise, especially as he now has four England caps to his name and looks a certainty to be part of the squad for Euro 2020 next summer.

Chelsea are now keen to agree new deal with Abraham, whose current contract will have two years remaining at the end of this season. But progress on him has not been as fast as had been hoped and Chelsea are not thought to be imminently preparing to announce a new contract for this man. Manchester City would have seized the opportunity to come and express their interest in the Chelsea difference-maker for the coming months.
