Manchester United and Manchester City were among 11 Premier League clubs at Benfica's Europa League clash with Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday night.
Trailing 1-0 from the first leg in Croatia, the Portuguese side forced extra time at the Stadium of Light, thanks to Jonas' 71st minute effort.
And on a night where they dominated proceedings, the Lisbon club booked their spot in the quarter-finals thanks to extra-time goals from Ferro and Spanish left-back Alex Grimaldo.
The Portuguese side will now face Eintracht Frankfurt in the last eight and face a potential clash with Chelsea in the semi-finals.
The Blues were also represented on Thursday evening, with Premier League clubs continuing to keep tabs on a host of the Eagles star names.
Wolves , Everton , Watford , Leicester , Spurs, Fulham and Newcastle , as well as West Ham , were all in attendance also.
The apple in the eye of many is young forward Joao Felix, being closely tracked by a host of Europe's finest clubs after a breakthrough season in Portugal.
Felix, just 19, has been named in the Seleccao's squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers after scoring 11 goals for his club this term; he likes of Juventus and Real Madrid have also been monitoring his progress.
He came on in the 62nd minute of the last 16 clash, with Benfica chasing goals and more than played his part as they turned things around.
Yet to all but Europe's elite, a player with an £80million price tag is out of their reach.
However, he isn't the only player attracting interest from the Portuguese giants.
Man City are eyeing a left-back this summer, and with Leicester wanting in excess of £60million to even think about parting with England's Ben Chilwell, Grimaldo could be a cut-price alternative.
Usually first choice, the Spaniard came on at half-time against Dinamo to help the push for victory and he's a player who would thrive in the Premier League.
Other players to have potentially been monitored include highly-rated defender Ruben Dias - whom United scouts reportedly travelled to watch in the first leg in Croatia - and 19-year-old forward Jota, top scorer at last season's Under-19 European Championship who has eight goals in 24 games for his club this term.
On the opposite side, young midfielder Dani Olmo - who joined Dinamo from Barcelona in 2014 - has been in good form this year also.
The 20-year-old has six goals and eight assists in all competitions, after transitioning from life out wide into a No.10 berth.
He has just over two years left on his deal.

these two players won't go to minnows who have no ambition like Everton west ham or wolves. if they join the premier league it would be the top six. for me they should be better off at man Utd than man city. coz at man city they will end up warming the bench. Plse join msn Utd jao Felix and grimaldo
