Manchester United's left winger Marcus Rashford scored a 93rd-minute in the second half putting the Red Devils into a commanding position, as their Champions League hope is still alive!

Manchester United began the game as the better team, but Ralf Rangnick's side dominated most of the match at Old Trafford, while the Red Devils could not truly find a way to test Hammer's Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

During the first half, David de Gea twice denied Declan Rice tremendous strikes in the first half, and Jarrod Bowen also looked dangerous. David Moyes' tactics were threatening in United's boxing area, but it all ended up being in vain.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a quiet day up front for Manchester United. At the very start of the second half, Areola made an incredible save against Ronaldo who received a cross-in from Bruno Fernandes, and that was one of the very few United chances from this 90 minutes. 

In the last half hour, Ralf Rangnick changed two strikers on the bench to seek more attacking impetus.

In stoppage time, Edinson Cavani across the goal for Rashford to tap into the back of the net from a couple of yards out.

Thankfully, Rashford curled a perfect strike past the Hammer's fingertips. The goal helps United keep pace with their rivals for Champions League qualification. This result pushes Manchester United above Tottenham Hotspur and placed them fourth in the Premier League table, although Spurs have two more games in hand.
