Man Utd dominate the worst EPL XI of the Season with FIVE Red Devils included

After EPL finale, majority players have finished their season while some show amazing performance during the season. However, there are players who are not meet fans' expectation.

So from Alexis Sanchez - with his one Premier League goal - to the continually-calamitous Shkodran Mustafi, its brains to work out the 2018-19 flop XI.

Goalkeeper: De Gea

Yes, he made 11 saves against Tottenham in January but his form this season has been well below par, especially in recent weeks.

And costly blunders against Arsenal, Manchester City and - in the Champions League - Barcelona have certainly not helped De Gea's case in negotiating any new deals.

Right-back: Trippier

Trippier enjoyed a stellar World Cup with England but simply did not carry that momentum into the season with Spurs.

He struggled to pose a threat from set pieces - one of his most dangerous attributes - and managed just three assists this term.

His defensive vulnerability was particularly exposed when Manchester City scored at Wembley in October, too.

Centre-back: Mustafi

The first name on the team-sheet. Arsenal's Mr Unreliable can be a decent defender on his day. On his day...

But too many lapses in concentration and simply bizarre defensive decisions leave Gunners fans tearing their hair out with the £35million German.

Premier League Golden Boot winner - Aubameyang, Salah or Mane - who has won the award?

Centre-back: Bailly

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to take some of the blame though for playing Bailly at right-back.

Man United fans have refused to be sympathetic towards the former Villarreal defender though. Bailly has not had the best of spells at Old Trafford.

Some fans want him gone in the summer, and they might have a point because this wasn't the first poor performance by him.

Left-back: Young

Played at left-back, right-back and on the wing this season but we're putting him at left-back.

Despite his experience and wearing the captain's armband, Young failed to impress throughout the season but often kept his place in the side due to a lack of alternatives.

Fortunate to be rewarded with a new contract.

Centre-midfielder: Kovacic

Big things were expected when Kovacic joined on loan from Real Madrid for the season, fresh from reaching the World Cup final with Croatia.

But he's offered very little throughout the season and lucky to make 31 appearances with Ross Barkley and especially Ruben Loftus-Cheek knocking on Maurizio Sarri's door.

Centre-midfielder: Fred

At £52m, Fred is United's fourth-most expensive signing behind Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Angel Di Maria. Not that his performances have justified it.

He may have started the season but has finished it way down the pecking order behind Pogba, Matic, Pereira, Mata, and McTominay. Needs to step up next year.

Centre-midfielder: Ozil

There is no two ways about it: Ozil has been poor this season.

He has not seen eye-to-eye with new boss Unai Emery and was left out of plenty of big games, especially away - but that is because he has not stepped up.

He produced one dazzling 45 minutes, against Leicester in October, but that was about it from him.

Arsenal fans will still be wondering why Ozil is on £350,000 a week but Aaron Ramsey is leaving for free.

Centre-midfielder: Denis Suarez

Despite being a clearly talented midfielder with perhaps the best years of his career ahead of him, Denis Suarez will go down as one of the worst signings in Premier League history.

The 25-year-old midfielder joined Arsenal on loan in January, but played just 95 minutes this season - 67 in the Premier League - and did not start a game for the club.

During his time at Arsenal, Suarez was paid £55,000-per-week, while the club also shelled out a £2.5million loan fee to Barca for the Spaniard.

That means Suarez cost Arsenal a grand total of £3.2m for his 95 minutes of first team action - or just over £33,500 per minute on the pitch.

Striker: Higuain

Chelsea reportedly have 'no intention' of keeping Gonzalo Higuain, whom Juventus could now offer to Inter for Mauro Icardi.

The Blues had options to buy the striker or extend his loan by another season, but they are currently appealing a transfer ban, while he has scored just 5 goals in 18 appearances.

Striker: Sanchez

We have saved the worst until last. Fans could maybe have forgiven Sanchez for not hitting the ground running after switching the Emirates for Old Trafford last year.

But he has failed to kick on this time around and has managed just ONE league goal - the winner against Newcastle - in another woeful campaign for the £505,000-per-week forward.

United need him to step up or get out.
