The outlet states that Erik ten Hag wants to bring Maignan to United to replace a recent signing.
Ten Hag may want to move on from Andre Onana, who has not impressed since arriving from Inter Milan.
Onana played for Ajax under Ten Hag and was the Dutchman's chosen keeper this summer.
