Fans have been waiting 16 years to see Manchester United take on Leeds United again in the Premier League, and the game did not disappoint.
It ended up 6-2 to the Red Devils, and it could've easily been a lot more for both teams, with chances galore at both ends.
Here are some of the stats from one of the most exciting games of the season so far, provided by Opta.
There were so many chances, and 43 shots is the most in a PL game at Old Trafford since October 2016, when there were 45 attempts in Man United's inexplicable 0-0 draw against Burnley (38-7).
It's the most shots in a Premier League game since Aston Villa took on Brighton (44) in October 2019.
As an extension of that, Manchester United had 14 shots on target, the joint most they’ve had in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era.
Meanwhile Leeds had just three of their 17 shots on target, but did manage to score with two of them.
There was a total expected goals of 5.76, which is the highest in a PL game this season. The most ever xG recorded remains 6.55 in the Arsenal v Man Utd game in December 2017.
It was truly end to end stuff on Sunday, as Leeds attacked in numbers, often followed by a swift Manchester United counter attack. Leeds dominated possession with 58.7%, but couldn't capitalise on the chances they made.
Man United made 347 passes, successfully completing 266 (76.7%), while Leeds attempted 471 and successfully completed 392 (83.2%).
It was not a day to be a defender, but Leeds made 16 tackles, while Man United made 19 tackles on their way to the win.

But it safe to say Marcelo Bielsa saw terrible things at Old Trafford tonight...

The game sounds exciting. But even without watching I knew who would win cos Bielsa plays the same football that would have him play right into OGS counter attack set up. Testament to how good Uniteds squad are on the counter. If Bielsa wasn't so stubborn with his philosophy then at half time he could have set up deep on the counter an got a result as the game plan would rattle OGS but instead came out again with his style as I'm sure he would and got clapped for another 2 goals. That Leeds defence is shocking though, they seem to just try and outscored everyone cos of how bad the back line is smh. They've conceded more goals than the bottom 3 teams in relegation, let that sink in...

Bielsa hadn't conceded 6 goals in a game for almost 3 decade until he met Ole the "PE Teacher". Let that sink in! Now all the Oleout, shut it!
