Manchester United have confirmed that new boy Amad Diallo will wear the club's number 19 shirt for the rest of the season.
Amad Diallo technically joined the club in the previous transfer window, staying at Atalanta on loan for the first half of the season.
The £37million deal, which will cost United £19million and up to £18m in add-ons, went through after Diallo passed a medical and agreed personal terms on Thursday.
A club statement confirmed the teenager will wear the number 19, with his first name 'Amad' displayed on the back of the shirt.
Diallo follows a number of illustrious names to wear the shirt, as well as some who didn't enjoy the best of times at Old Trafford.
Class of '92 midfielder Nicky Butt was the first to don the shirt, making 78 appearances in it before switching to the more familiar number eight in 1996.
He wasn't the only 1999 treble winner to wear the shirt, as he was followed by Norwegian defender Ronny Johnsen and Dwight Yorke.
The Trinidad and Tobago striker was arguably the most notable to ever wear the shirt, scoring 65 goals in four seasons.
However he was followed by two players who never found their feet at Old Trafford in goalkeeper Ricardo and midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba.
Ricardo only made one Premier League appearance in three years while Djemba-Djemba who was famously brought in as a future replacement to Roy Keane, never hit the heights of what was hoped for him.
Edwin van der Sar also had the number 19 shirt for one season before switching to the more traditional number one, while Barcelona stalwart Gerard Pique also represented the number in his brief time at Old Trafford.
Danny Welbeck wore the shirt for six seasons while Marcus Rashford scored 24 goals in 105 appearances before he switched to number ten.
James Wilson wore the shirt between Welbeck and Rashford, but now spends his time at Salford City.
