Montenegro's Marko Vesovic was lucky to escape a red card after appearing to headbutt Marcus Rashford.

The England striker was fouled by his opponent near the corner flag and then pushed Vesovic away.

This wound up the right back even more and he leaned in towards the Manchester United striker, connecting with his forehead.

The contact was minimal but obvious as Rashford stayed on his feet but appealed to the referee.

Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz only showed a yellow card to Vesovic, a mercy with Montenegro already 4-0 down at the time.

England ran riot at Wembley, carving up their opponents at will with Vesovic and Co on the receiving end of a hammering.

Rashford could have made the most of the challenge on him but kept his composure and allowed the referee to handle the situation.

He had already made his mark on the scoresheet and England strolled to a half-time lead with Harry Kane slotting a hat-trick and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scoring the opener.
