Mbappe tops CIES' best performance ranking for last 6 month, Ney ahead of Messi

CIES Football Observatory considers the player with the best performance in the last six months in the top five leagues is Mbappé, while Verratti 2nd

According to this ranking, the podium is occupied by three PSG players. Mbappé, Verratti and Kimpembe. Two other players from the club in the 'Top 10' are Di Maria sixth and Neymar seventh.

Between the tenth and twentieth, there are Mo Salah (14th; Liverpool), Cristiano Ronaldo (15th; Juventus) and Luis Suárez (16th; Barcelona).

Based on OptaPro data, the CIES methodology starts from the data around different parameters in six areas of play: take on, rigour, shooting, chance creation, distribution, recovery, all applied according to the benefit of the collective.
