Messi finishes 90-minute workout as Barca players divided in training (Sport)

Leo Messi has brought to an end his first day of training back at the Ciudad Deportiva in this new post-confinement era. 

Messi left the installations after a 90-minute workout on one of the pitches. He left as he arrived, in his training kit, with players required to shower at home and not to use the dressing rooms at the training base.

Along with Messi, the first players to train on Friday -- with staggered groups arriving throughout the morning -- were Arturo Vidal and Luis Suarez, who is continuing with recovery work.

Messi, as with all of his Barça teammates, arrived alone in his vehicle already dressed for training. The players were divided so that they would have enough space to take part in individual workouts, with and without the ball, while maintaining social distancing. The Tito Vilanova pitch, Pitch 2 and Pitch 3 were used.

Once the work finished, after an hour and a half, Messi and his teammates left the training ground in their cars, with plastic covers on the seats to avoid possible contagion, with more players following them in.

The players will shower at home.
