Fellow soccer fans, for every big event in all the Continents, there are always representatives of FIFA. Let not just blame the referee or VAR, let us look at what happened for Medel to hit Messi. Messi started he hit Medel when the ball was already out. That is what made Medel get annoyed and hit him. There was no Animal Farm used. If it was other referees without VAR and fearing that Messi is a star, they were just going to give him a yellow card. If we were all watching the match and not just hearing, we will all agree that the decision was fair to send both of them out by giving them red cards.

For me I think the red card given to Messi was partly because of his fault. He started all this by deliberately pushing Medel on his back when Medel was trying to cover the ball. Then after Medel turn back and attacked Messi and instead for Messi to just turn and go away to avoid Medel mind games, he stood there trying to be a man be confronting Medel and that gave the referee a reason to show both players red cards. For me immediately Medel started attacking Messi, Messi should have just turn and gone away as simple as that. But he prefered confronting Medel which makes me think that the red card showed to him was partly his fault

I can't believe you took your time to write this piece just to prove that you don't watch football regularly... Messi pushed him and there was an altercation in which mendel spearheaded... But still both players don't deserve to be sent off. Go back and watch clips of similar events.
