Mundo Deportivo: Real Madrid and Barcelona lead in revenue in Europe in 2025

Real Madrid tops the ranking, according to the UEFA report accessed by MD, with 1.184 billion euros, followed by FC Barcelona with 989 million.

Twenty of the top 25 European clubs recorded record revenues last year.

MD has obtained access to the financial report that UEFA has sent to the clubs, which reflects the accounts for the recently concluded 2025 financial year. This comprehensive analysis particularly highlights the dominance of two Spanish teams, which lead the year's revenue: the two giants of Spanish football.


Real Madrid tops the list with revenues of €1.184 billion, representing an increase of €120 million compared to the previous year. FC Barcelona comes in second , having reached total revenues of €989 million, according to the same report, a growth of €220 million compared to 2024.


Bayern Munich occupies third place with €861 million. They are followed by Manchester City (€855 million), Liverpool FC (€852 million), and Paris Saint-Germain (€837 million). Atlético de Madrid is in fourteenth position with €433 million, representing an increase of €21 million compared to the previous year.


Six of the top 25 clubs recorded revenue increases of over €100 million in 2025. The biggest climbers in the rankings were Crystal Palace FC, Nottingham Forest FC, SL Benfica and Fenerbahçe SK , all of them rising at least ten places in the overall revenue ranking.


In terms of commercial revenue, the two giants of Spanish football also lead the rankings. According to the UEFA report, Real Madrid occupies first place with €568 million, compared to €458 million the previous year. FC Barcelona , meanwhile, reached €499 million, an increase of €111 million compared to €388 million in 2014. Manchester City holds third place in this ranking .
