Nacho: If someone has to come, I hope it's Mario Hermoso

Ahead of their Champions League tie against Viktoria Plzen, Real Madrid centre-back, Nacho Fernandez, assessed his teams chances and also gave his opinion on possible incoming transfers.

Despite being the reigning Champions League holders, a competition they've won three times in succession and in four of the last five years, Los Blancos are always looking to improve.

"We are used names being mentioned all year long," he said to reporters.

"If someone has to come, I hope it's Mario Hermoso."

One of the new summer signings, Vinicius, may well get his European bow, and his teammates are happy with how the young Brazilian is settling in.

"He is showing that little by little he can play in Madrid," Nacho continued.

"We have to be calm and not put all the pressure on him, and with the help of everyone he can be a great player with us. "

Asked about the change of coach and Real's current moment of form, the defender was forthcoming.
