In Brazil it is a crime to offer, share, transmit, sell, distribute or publish images or videos of sexual content by any means without the consent of the subject of the video, with the crime carrying a penalty of up to five years in prison.
The possibility of a longer sentence can occur in the case of a violation being deemed an act of revenge after a sexual relationship – or so-called ‘revenge porn’.
Neymar and his father denied the accusations. According to the football player, sex was by mutual consent. The incident occurred on May 15 in Paris.

I doubt neymar will face punishment concerning the video, because he did to prove his innocent and not to take revenge on the lady. so I will say it a prove to show the police that he did not rape her. so I guess neymar lawyers are smart enough to deal with this and pls media stop adding fuel to the case.

First of all, I would like to say that my heart goes out to all rape victims, both men and women. It can be a traumatizing experience that no one should suffer, but with that being said, I do believe Neymar is innocent. Too often we hear stories about rape that are not true. It is an injustice to true rape victims when another person comes out and claims they were raped just to make someone look bad or to "get rich quick." I strongly believe that rape victims should speak out, but it is wrong to accuse an innocent person, especially someone as rich and famous as Neymar or Ronaldo, just to get money or put them in jail. I pray that neymar is innocent and I stand by him releasing the messages despite her nude photos being there, because he was simply trying to clear his name, and if she is lying, she had it coming.
