Neymar passes Pele and THINGS YOU MISSED in international action

There were wins for Brazil, France and Wales on an entertaining night of international action on Tuesday.

England's U21s also secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Scotland's U21s in their European Championship qualifier.

Sportsmail's SPENCER MORGAN has picked out six things you may have missed from Tuesday's matches.

Gerrard in attendance

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard and assistant Gary McAllister were in attendance as Scotland's Under-21s took on England Under-21s in European Championship qualifying.

The new Gers manager had three of his players involved at Tynecastle Park with Ross McCrorie starting and Glenn Middleton and Robby McCrorie on the bench.

Middleton entered the fray at half-time but the hosts were well beaten.

Ramsey's big news

Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey did not travel to Dublin for Wales' Nations League match against the Republic of Ireland as his wife was due to give birth to twins.

And the midfielder took to Twitter moments before his national team's match kicked off to announce his two new children 'had finally arrived'.

'Two beautiful boys, thank you for the kind messages,' the Welshman continued, tagging wife Colleen at the end of the Tweet.

The childhood sweethearts married in 2014 and have already have a three-year-old son named Sonny.

And Wales finally win without their 'big two'

Wales might have been without Ramsey and the injured Gareth Bale but they finally proved they are capable of winning a game with neither in the side.

Prior to Tuesday's clash in Dublin, the Dragons had failed to seal a victory in a game in which both were absent in over 13 years.

The previous win came when Ryan Giggs scored twice in a 2-0 victory over Azerbaijan in October, 2005.

However, Harry Wilson's brilliant second half free-kick brought an end to all that in what was a closely contested affair.

Brazil win a trophy

Most of the focus over the international break has been on the UEFA Nations League but Brazil's late victory over Argentina actually saw the Selecao pick up a piece of silverware.

Captain Miranda netted the only goal of the game with a 93rd minute header from Neymar's corner at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Saudi Arabia.

The match marked the conclusion of a four-team friendly tournament which also involved the hosts and Iraq, Brazil taking home the Super Classico trophy.

Neymar passes Pele

The trophy may not be the most meaningful one he'll ever win but the match sure marked a special milestone for star man Neymar.

The PSG forward won his 93rd cap for the national team, seeing him pass Rivellino, Kaka and the great Pele in terms of appearances in the process.

The 26-year-old has contributed 59 goals and 40 assists since his debut in 2010.

He still has some way to go before catching Brazil's most capped player, however, with former full-back Cafu having pulled on the shirt 142 times during his career.

Griezmann's new Fortnite celebration

Antoine Griezmann has adopted the 'Take the L' dance from Fortnite as his celebration for much of this year but the Frenchman decided to switch things up on Tuesday.

The forward netted his side's equaliser midway through the first half before receiving a golden chance to give them the lead from the penalty spot in the 80th minute.

The Atletico Madrid star duly dispatched the spot-kick with aplomb but this time celebrate by performing another move from the popular game, known as the 'The Regal Wave'.
