Nike re-release 2005 Tiempo boots worn by Ronaldinho in iconic 'crossbar' advert

Nike have decided to re-release one of the most popular boots of all time – Ronaldinho's gold and white Tiempo's.

The stunning boot was an instant hit with football fans everywhere when they first appeared in the iconic 'crossbar' Nike advert 13 years ago.

In the clip, Ronaldinho had just finished training and was given the new boots to try on before he going on to hit the crossbar perfectly four times without letting the ball touch the floor.

Whether the advert, which was the first video on YouTube to hit a million views, was real or not, fans fell in love with the stylish boot and it seems Nike have decided for it to make a comeback over a decade later.

While the boots had a makeover three years ago, Nike have done it again  in updating the classic design for a second time.

The 2018 version of the boot was leaked last week with the pictures showing subtle changes to the original design.

The tongue and the inner sole come with the R10 logo printed on while a serial number can be seen on the heel of each and every pair.

However, the only issue that potential buyers will have is actually getting a pair.

Nike have revealed only 1000 pairs will be sold so will be very much a collector's item.
