Arsenal have announced the signing of Saint-Etienne star William Saliba in a £27million deal.
It is the Gunners' second signing of the day, after completing the loan move of Dani Ceballos earlier. And the 18-year-old defender will return to Saint-Etienne on a season-long loan.
Following the signing, Unai Emery said: 'We're delighted William is joining us. Many teams wanted him but he decided he wanted to come to us and be part of our future.
'He will stay in France next season for more experience and then we look forward to him joining our group.'
Saliba made 16 appearances during his debut campaign after breaking into Saint-Etienne's first-team in late September.

Arsenal is not giving out Saliba on a season long loan willingly; but they are only trying to obey the clause in the contract agreement. On the other hand, Zaha's contract too has a clause that will allow Man U have a hooping some of £16m and that is the reason why Zaha's asking price is that expensive £80m and Crystal Palace will get the balance in contract agreement. Arsenal securing the signature of Zaha will be like a camel passing thru the eye of a needle, due to arsenal contract policy. However, If Zaha does become a gunner, then the premiership tittle will be Arsenal's in 2020/21. Quote me anytime.
