OFFICIAL: Balde extends FC Barcelona contract until 2028

FC Barcelona and the player Alejandro Balde have reached an agreement for a new contract which will take the player through to 30 June 2028. The buy out clause is set at 1bn euros. 

The signing of the new contact for the youth team product will take place on Thursday 21 September at 1.15pm CEST at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper will the following agenda:

In the space of a year, Balde went from first-choice left-back for Barca Atletic, to locking down the same spot for the senior side. After a good preseason, Xavi Hernandez introduced him to the side in just their second game of the campaing last year. By November, his performances had earned him a call-up to the Spain squad for the Qatar World Cup.
