Barcelona starlet Ilaix Moriba has extended his contract until 2022, putting pen-to-paper on his new deal on Thursday.
The 16-year-old is regarded as one of La Masia's brightest talents, which is why the club were eager to tie him down to a long-term deal.
So highly is the youngster rated that the Catalan club have inserted a 100-million-euro release clause in his contract.
With big clubs circling the Spanish-Guinean, namely Manchester City, the Blaugrana were keen to fend off interest in the teenager.
The player shares the same representative as Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.
