Borussia Dortmund confirm they agree terms to send 'the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic' Alexander Isak to Real Sociedad.
The 19-year old had been linked with a move to the Anoeta since the end of the season, after netting 13 league goals in 16 appearances at the back end of 2018-19 campaign, on loan at Dutch side Willem II.
Isak came off the bench for a cameo appearance, as Sweden lost 3-0 to Spain at the Santiago Bernabeu on June 10, and the teenager remained in Madrid to finalise the details of his move to the Baque Country.
La Real have not confirmed details of the fee they have paid for Isak, although it is believed to be in the region of €10m, alongside a five-year contract, for the highly rated attacker.
Imanol Alguacil's side are reported to have beaten off competition from Anderlecht and other Bundesliga sides to secure Isak's signature.
The club have already confirmed the free transfer of former Athletic Bilbao goal keeper Alex Remiro, with Girona's Portu also set to sign at the Anoeta in the coming days.

Always done well for the national team no matter what age group he was in, had a fantastic 6 months with Willem II, was one of the better players in Allsvenskan even at a young age..

If I remember correctly, he seems to be called the second Zlatan by the fans, Dortmund will certainly regret to let him leave the team!

That still doesn't mean you can go and buy another striker in the hope he works out. They have plenty of strikers that they have faith in.

Not at all, I'm a fan of the team Isak came from, AIK. He was a phenomenon over here, and every AIK fan is in love with Isak and wants him to succeed. Even in the national team he shows brilliance even if he is often a 80' + sub. I think were just very excited about seeing something great being built, I really believe Isak can be the next swedish superstar in a few years if things go right.
