Official: Paolo Montero takes charge of the Men's First Team until the end of the season.
Juventus faced Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final on the 15th. They won the title with a 1-0 win, but during the match manager Massimiliano Allegri was sent off for insulting the referee and others. Furthermore, he was sacked on the 17th after causing a stir by damaging the lights in the stadium and appearing to chase away football director Cristiano Giuntoli while the team was celebrating.
Paolo Montero, who was appointed as interim coach, is currently in charge of the Juventus U-19 team. The former Uruguay national team defender played for Juventus from 1996 to 2005, and is a legend, having played in 278 games.
"For me, Juventus is like the national team: it's feeling. You do everything for the shirt." says Montero.
