Robert Lewandowski won the Muller Trophy as the top goalscorer for his club and with the national team. It’s the first time this prize has been given out and he got it for bagging 57 for Bayern Munich and Poland.
The attacker travelled to Paris in a group with Joan Laporta, Gavi, Alexia Putellas, Oshaola, Rolfo and Lucy Bronze.
Lewandowski will not win the Ballon d’Or, though, which Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema has won.
He should have won it in 2020 but the competition was called off. And then in 2021 Messi won it.
