Liverpool FC can confirm the signing of 17-year-old goalkeeper Ben Winterbottom.
The Preston-born player was previously with Blackburn Rovers.
Winterbottom joined Blackburn initially as an U10 player and has impressed playing against the Reds on numerous previous occasions.
He will add depth to the U18 and U23 squads, and was an unused substitute for the U18s' derby victory against Everton on Saturday morning.

My goodness, from Loris Karius (Mistakes Carrier) to another fella called Winterbottom. I just hope this one wont drop Liverpool at the "bottom" of the EPL table during the next "winter". Just hoping that this new goalkeeper wont break our hearts like Karius did in 2018.
