It is officially announced that Thomas Tuchel will become Paris Saint-Germain manager next season, signalling the end of Unai Emery's two-year tenure at Les Parisiens.
Thomas Tuchel has signed a two-year contract with PSG, keeping him at the club him until 2020.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager attracted interests from Bayern Munich, Arsenal and other top European clubs but he now eventually ends up replacing Unai Emery at the France capital.
Unai Emery's two-year tenure at PSG proves a disappointing one, having seen his team being eliminated in just the first round of Champions League knockout stage in both 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons.
The most notable failure from Emery happened in March of 2017, when his side lead Barcelona 4-0 in the Champions League last 16 first leg, but the Catalan giants completed a miraculous 6-1 comeback win in second leg.
Emery is now being replaced by 44-year-old Tuchel, whose last managerial experience was at Dortmund in 2016/17, when he guided Die Borussen to a third-placed finish in Bundesliga.
In 2016/17, Tuchel won DFB-Pokal with Dortmund, the only trophy he has won in his 11-year managerial career thus far.

I am not completely sure about this. Tuchel in my point of view is one of the best managers in the world right now and one of the most innovative. But one of the things known about him is that he is heavily straight forward and demands hard work from his players. He has also been seen to not be able to properly cope with egos, so how will he handle players like Neymar who reportedly only turn up to train when they want to is something I would like to see. Wish Tuchel the best, although I would have preferred if he had joined Arsenal, but being psg manager means that he is all but guaranteed Ligue 1 title which would at least shut up those people who don't seem to count beating Bayern to win the dfb Pokal as a major title won.

Hi 1st order of business should be to get rid of Neymar. Neymar not a team player and will and has made life difficult for all others . Remember there are 11players playing the game and one individual should not be allowed to do what ever they feel like to do no matter how good you are. If Neymar was so good I am sure Barcelona would have kept him.

Emery's only fault was not bringing PSG on to the finals of the Champions league as after their owner brought Neymar to Paris so did their expectations and ambition arose.His departure didn't make sense but someone had to take the fault. Tuchel is similarly a talented manager but he will also follow the path of his predecessor if PSG blows apart in the champions league again in the next season.

wtf with the owners of clubs if they are not satisfied with league 1 its better they put their team in EPL coz winning a champion's league won't base on. coach performance for 1 or 2 season check mancity or liverpool where is kloop now in the final you have to give coach time as long as you see that domestically he can make things work imagine what barca could have done to valverde after the elimination its all about patience and expecting to meet either Bayern,Real madrid ,or barca in the semis and now mancity is coming too just stick to the coach and the players get used to the style and your club will prosper modern football now days its all about money they don't care us the fans. really disappointing

Tuchel is best man for PSG, I personally wanted him at FC Bayern as guardiola recommended him to take over, Bayern at end of his rein at bayern. so believe guys Tuchel will, success at FC PSG. there's is no better philosophy of play than positional play of Johunn Cryff and Pep Guardiola, and Tuchel does the same we saw it with BVB.
