There are seven matches left to be played in LaLiga Santander and, as things stand, there is still a huge amount at stake for the large majority of the teams.
Barcelona will once again be crowed champions but one Champions League place for next season is still up for grabs, both Europa League places are still anyone's for the taking, which could extend to three if Valencia, who are Copa del Rey finalists, finish in the top seven.
Finally, all three relegation places are yet to be decided.
Champions League places (61-65 points)
Barcelona are already mathematically guaranteed a Champions League place for next season and Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid should both easily ensure themselves Champions League football in the coming weeks.
Getafe are currently in fourth place with 50 points, just one point above Sevilla who are hot on their tails.
The fight for the last Champions League place will definitely go right down to the wire.
In four out of the last five seasons, teams have needed 70 or more points to get fourth position.
This season will be somewhat different and it looks like teams will only need between 61 and 65 points to confirm their place in Europe's premier competition.
Europa League (55-60 points)
There are currently two confirmed Europa League places, which, as aforementioned could become three if Valencia finish in the top seven.
Sevilla who are on 49 points, Valencia who are on 46 and Alaves on 45 currently occupy those three positions.
Athletic Club, Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Leganes are the four teams who could potentially mount a challenge for the Europa League spots.
Whoever finishes in fifth place will need to get 60 points, whereas sixth and seventh place will need at least 55.
Relegation places (36-40 points)
The fight to stay in the top flight is still very much alive.
Real Valladolid and Villarreal would only have needed 30 points in previous years but this year it is very different.
There are seven teams who are still involved in a dog fight to remain in LaLiga Santander.
Those include Girona, Levante, Celta Vigo, Valladolid, Villarreal, Rayo Vallecano and Huesca.
Many factors will be at play before the end of the season, which will ultimately have a bearing on who goes down.
Injuries to key players will be one of the most common factors along with physical fitness, manager decisions, how well managers and players deal with pressure and finally refereeing decisions.
As things stand, it looks as though teams will need between 36 and 40 points to avoid the drop.

Nobody talks about altitude sickness, Alaves is already suffering and Geta does not get nervous very well, but the match that ends with 11 will be rare and as a result it will be downgraded.

the only thing that is clear is that Barsa has another league. Congratulations. Levante playing as complicated plays and Valencia has the same

In view of the fact that Madrid is not playing anything anymore, the only thing that interests me is that Villareal and Rayo are saved, and that Getafe go to the champions, as big as they get.

I see it very complicated, but it is possible, it would be lovely to have 3 Madrid teams in Champions. The bad, the EuropaLeague do not think that they escape, that it would already be a success. Great that Geta !!!

The fourth place will be played by the team that reaches 61 or 62 points, the truth is that I do not see Getafe winning 4 games out of the seven that are missing, but having the rivals that he has, Sevilla is now the closest one can have it but the What calendar is left is hard, Betis, Getafe, athletic, Bilbao, complicated, Valencia is s priori who has the best calendar, the problem is the low q has q and q plays, I think I can cheat five of those seven games, what would force the Getafe to have to win four and sl Seville four and tie one, that I see complicated in both cases

A penalty Getafe for the season that is making the fourth place will end up taking it to Valencia or Sevilla surely, but the Madrid team will play UEFA.

I believe that Valencia is already saved from the descent.

But with the Zidane effect, the best 9 in the world and the best footballer on the planet, Madrid should still be able to win the league, right? I do not get it
