Manchester City are the new favourites to win the Premier League title, despite being one point Arsenal and Liverpool with seven games to play.
Liverpool surrendered their advantage in the title race after failing to make their chances count in a chaotic 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
That allowed Arsenal to keep top spot on goal difference, after they jumped to the top of the standings with an impressive 3-0 victory against Brighton a day prior.
However, Opta's supercomputer still doesn't back Mikel Arteta's squad to lift what would be Arsenal's first Premier League title in two decades.
Manchester City are instead deemed the favourites following their 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Pep Guardiola's side saw their title chances decline from 45.9 per cent to 33.5 after their goalless draw with Arsenal a week prior.
However, the weekend's results have seen them shoot back up to 40.6 per cent, ahead of Arsenal on 30.3 and Opta's previous favourites Liverpool, who are now on just 29.1.
Manchester City's advantage perhaps comes down to the calibre of opponents they have left to play compared to their two rivals.
The remaining teams they play have an average current position of 11.4 in the Premier League, compared to Liverpool on 9.86 and Arsenal on 8.6
City's trickiest test left is their trip to Tottenham, which still needs a date to be arranged.
Liverpool face back-to-back clashes against Tottenham and Aston Villa, and also have a tricky looking week where they travel to Fulham, Everton, and West Ham within six days.
Arsenal next go up against Champions League chasing Villa, while they have tricky away trips to Tottenham and Manchester United to come.
Where the Reds could hold an advantage is the fact that Arsenal and Manchester City have a difficult looking route to the Champions League final.
The Gunners and City play Bayern Munich and Real Madrid respectively in the quarter-finals, with the winners then playing each other in the final four.
Liverpool meanwhile face Serie A side Atalanta in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, and would play either Roma or Benfica in the semi-finals.
Arsenal currently top the standings thanks to their goal difference of +51, compared to Liverpool who are nine behind.
Manchester City are one point behind the pair and are in prime position to take advantage if either of their two rivals slip up.

Opta Computer must be crazy this time. the way they rate other team's performance meant something behind, I guessed the computer is belong to Manchester City. Both teams have potentials to win the title if other make mistakes like yesterday draw between Liverpool vs Manchester United while both teams remain 7 games.

A supercomputer is not meant to work like that; it's verdict should be given at the very beginning of the season and its conversion rate should be about 97% or so...

Thank God it didn't make us favorite. The last time it made Liverpool favorite, they had to beg for fake penalty to draw with Man Utd.

Anyone or a stupid computer thinking Man City is the favorite just because they have won most titles in the last decade is a fool. Thinking only Man City will not drop points but other teams will is stupidity. This is football and anything can happen. We see who prevail comes May
