Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to move heaven and earth to keep Kylian Mbappe with an eye-watering £42million (€50m) net annual salary.
The 23-year-old forward's contract at the Parc des Princes expires at the end of the season and Spanish giants Real Madrid are being heavily tipped to sign him on a free transfer.
The France international has so far rejected all contract extension proposals from the Ligue 1 giants, including a reported 'blank cheque' offer submitted last week.
But French outlet Le Parisien are now reporting PSG have once again pushed the boat out to try and keep Mbappe, who in being offered a two-year contract would earn more £800,000 per week after tax.
The same report - which Spanish outlet AS are also reporting - claims the France striker would also earn a signing-on bonus of £83m (€100m), but add his representatives have yet to respond to the offer.
PSG however are reportedly optimistic about securing Mbappe's immediate future following what they believe were positive discussions with his agents.
Reports last week however suggested Real Madrid were confident of signing both Mbappe and Erling Haaland this summer, while Sportsmail understands the Frenchman may also emerge as a factor should Los Blancos step up their interest in PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The report comes just a few days after Mbappe's cryptic message about chasing down the club's record goalscorer Edinson Cavani's tally of 200 goals in the French capital.
The 23-year-old is now the joint-second top goalscorer in the club's history after catching Zlatan Ibrahimovic with 156 goals following his brace against Saint-Etienne.
That is still 44 goals behind Cavani's total, but speaking to Spanish outlet AS, Mbappe said: 'I only have Cavani left to be the top scorer in the history of PSG.
'We'll see what happens. Being PSG's top scorer is something that cannot be ignored. We'll see what happens.'
The striker added that he is very grateful for the show of support from the PSG fans, who have been begginh him to sign a new deal in Paris.
'It is good to have the affection of the fans. We also play for this kind of thing. There is always the part about the goals, the statistics.
'But leaving a mark on people's memory is part of marking history. I liked it a lot and I thank you for it.'
Mbappe is enjoying another impressive season, having scored 24 times in all competitions in just 35 appearances - five of those coming in the Champions League.

They took Neymar from Barca.Mbappe closely saw how Neymar's career took a downward after leaving for money.Cristiano & messi never went after money .They got numerous astronomical offers from clubs but they chose football , Glory and eventually money followed them.they are not just goats because of football but their mentality their determination and pushing the limits to go up.Mbappe should choose wisely.Whether he stays or leaves it should be because of football not money

Bruh that's a whole lot of paper... And honestly i won't blame him if he gives in to that offer... That's just crazy. But if he still rejects and joins Madrid, then he would be for me the Biggest player in the world rn in terms of RESPECT

that's just too much, can't believe there's so much money in a game where you just kick balls.. If people weren't so selfish he could save countries and feed thousands of people with that money

most of people don't understand that messi is not performing well because he want mbappe to be more considered than him in psg messi knows that if he perform well mbappe will leave immediately knowing he'll be under messi's shadow messi knows in psg future mbappe is a good candidate because messi may retire anytime from now on he don't want to leave psg with no good forward so he's under performing to make it easy for mbappe and psg to go along

I don't think that's enough, players like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar have millions in their bank accounts that they will never use even in 20 lifetimes... They could be doing much more, but then that's just my opinion, maybe having 20 cars is more important than human lives 🤷♀️
just imagine the silly sense of Entitlement. you're posting here... Total crap... Why can't the Governments of said people save them? They have every right to even own 100 private jets if they can afford it. They worked their asses off to earn what they have now... So cut the Entitlement crap. they don't owe anybody anything.

Everyone works hard, they got lucky in having the talent and getting to play since they were very young... I'm just saying my opinion, they should at the very least pay more taxes (btw governments in most countries do help, but in a lot they just don't have enough resources)
"Everyone works hard" This statement alone just explains your poor sense of reasoning. No wonder you're so damn overly entitled... They DO NOT owe anyone anything... They too have families, friends and responsibities and they help in the best way they can. Should they spend all their earnings and go broke bcoz some a**hole feels he's entitled to money he didn't work a day for? Rubbish! And just imagine the crappy talk. They should more taxes ? They should more than the set percentages just bcoz??? Mtcheeeew. Boy just gtfu!
