PSG 'on the brink of completing shock swoop for Everton flop Moise Kean'

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to complete a shock deal to bring in Moise Kean on loan from Everton for the rest of the season.

The forward has played just 13 Premier League minutes this term for a Toffees side in flying form having won all of their first four matches under Carlo Ancelotti.

Kean was a high profile arrival at Merseyside last season though and his reputation remains high. According to Telefoot, the French champions are keen to bring him to the Parc des Princes on a short term deal.

PSG saw the release of Edinson Cavani and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting at the end of last season and are keen to have back-up to their main attacking stars in Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi.

Kean was Everton's major move in the transfer market last summer when then manager Marco Silva looked to have pulled off a major coup in landing him from Juventus for £25million.

However the 20-year-old has failed to settle at Goodison Park, following a disruptive season for the club which saw Silva sacked midway into it and replaced by Ancelotti.

Although he featured in 29 league games last term, he only found the net twice.

Kean only completed 90 league minutes once and was even hauled off as a substitute in a December clash at Manchester United by caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson just 18 minutes after coming on the pitch.

Under Ancelotti he has started this season on the fringes of the first-team, and has scored twice in the Carabao Cup this term in victories over Fleetwood Town and Salford.

With Everton having won all six matches across all competition this term he appears to be out the first team picture having now not been part of the squad in their two most recent matches, in the midweek cup win over West Ham and on Saturday against Brighton.
