Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino were on target as Liverpool maintained their eight-point lead at the Premier League summit.

Liverpool's stunning start to the Premier League campaign continued as Roberto Firmino's late strike secured a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
The Reds followed up their superb 3-1 victory over Manchester City before the international break with a 12th win in 13 league games so far this season – a result that maintains their eight-point lead at the summit.
Palace looked like they had secured a deserved point when Wilfried Zaha cancelled out Sadio Mane's opener with just eight minutes remaining.
Firmino had other ideas, though, prodding home after a goalmouth scramble in the 85th minute to secure all three points for Jurgen Klopp's men.

VAR took a long look at the goal and eventually awarded Liverpool a free-kick, after Ayew pushed Lovren in the back as the ball comes into the box. It didn't look like Lovren was going to get to the ball though and it's actually Wijnaldum who flicks it on. However, the goal is overturned by VAR.

The ball is delivered into the box from the left by Robertson, missed by Oxlade-Chamberlain and it falls to Mane around the penalty spot, who volleys it towards the bottom left-hand post.
Guaita gets a hand to it, but it strikes the post, trickles along the line and hits the other post, before bouncing over the line, just before Van Aanholt can get to it.

Good effort! Benteke goes for the spectacular, with an acrobatic overhead volley from the edge of the penalty area. Kelly chips the ball into the box and Benteke fires it goalwards, but it flies just wide of the post.

Zaha fires them back into the game after a lovely quick move by the Eagles. Schlupp finds Townsend on the edge of the penalty area, who lays it off to Zaha, he shifts it past a Liverpool defender and then slides the ball into the bottom left-hand corner of the net, out of the reach of Alisson.

kLiverpool win a corner and the delivery isn't dealt with by Palace, there is a scramble in the six-yard box, before it falls perfectly to Firmino just a few yards out, who smashes the ball into the back of the net.
