Patrice Evra takes to social media to MOCK rivals Manchester City as he sings Oasis song

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has taken to social media to mock Manchester City following Saturday's enthralling derby.

Erik ten Hag's side produced an extraordinary turnaround to take all three points at Old Trafford through goals by Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford after the visitors initially took the lead.

Evra wasted no time in mocking Pep Guardiola's team, posting a video of him singing a revised version of 'Don't Look Back In Anger' by Oasis.

The infamous song has strong links to City, with a number of members in the band being supporters of the club.

Evra is also seen wearing a wig to mimic Noel and Liam gallagher, who both at one point had similar hairstyles.

The 41-year-old wrote on Twitter: 'EVRASIS New Remix : Don't look back in anger

'You ain't ever gonna shut my mouth Soo city can wait They know its too late are we're back on fire.

'They're soul slide away But don't look back in anger I heard you say'.

Evra is renown to react to Manchester United games on social media and has also often been on punditry duties since his retirement in 2018.

During his eight-year stay at the club, Evra won multiple honours with United, including five Premier League titles and the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he told the rest of the Manchester United squad that they 'look like a team now' before the win over City.

He told BT Sport: 'It’s always important to win the game but as I said before the game for us it doesn’t matter [about] the opponent, the most important [thing] is winning and we did it. It was an amazing comeback, a great effort from the team.

'I said it before the game to the team "we look like a team now", some months ago, you could see sometimes a team, sometimes each one of us looking a bit for ourselves but now you see a proper team that works hard for each other and you see that it pays.'
